What the app does

• Pile — stacked roundwood, pulpwood, firewood or brush: enter or LiDAR-measure length × width × height, pick a coefficient, get solid cubic metres.
• Logs — point the camera at the log ends from 2–5 m; the app finds every log end and measures each diameter using LiDAR depth, then computes per-log volume by your country's standard (Latvia LVS 82 included; Huber, Smalian and Newton formulas available).
• Manual — type diameters and lengths directly.
• History — every saved measurement, with notes.

Frequently asked

Which iPhones support LiDAR measuring? iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro / Pro Max models have a LiDAR scanner. On other iPhones you can still enter measurements manually.

How accurate is it? LiDAR distances are typically accurate to a few centimetres. Diameters measured automatically are usually within 1–2.5 cm of a caliper reading when you stand 2–5 m from the log ends. Pile volumes depend on the coefficient you choose and are estimates (shown with ≈).

"Camera is still starting" — wait one or two seconds after opening the LiDAR screen, then tap Capture again.

Does the app need internet? No. Everything runs on the device.
